our great river of knowledge and wisdom had stopped Every human being is inspired by someone special and I don’t see anybody in the last one thousand years except Dr Israr Ahmad (RA) who inspired me. He is the man, a real hero, Mard e Mujahid, a scholar a practicing Muslim and a person whom I found to interpret Quraan and Ahadees which are closest to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and Sahabah e Kiram (R.A) teachings. I am listening him since 1998 during my university days. When he speaks I feel a massive river of knowledge and wisdom is flowing with full force. Believe me when I heard the news that he passed away I could not slept for several weeks I am in the UK for the last couple of years and those days were the hardest of my life. The gape could not be filled for centuries. May Allah grant him Jannat ul Firdos and fill his grave with Rahmat and Fazal. Ameen Submitted By: Muhammad Ayaz

Shaikh-ul-Islam Ibn-Taymiyahh, Shaikh-ul-Hind Shah Wali-Ullah and then came Dr. Israr Ahmed..... I always wonder how the posterity will feel when they will come to know that the beginning of 21st century witnessed the scholar like Dr. Israr Ahmed, similar to what we feel when we miss Shaikh-ul-Islam Ibn-Taymiyahh. After Shaikhul Islam came the Shaikhul Hind Shah Wali-Ullah and certainly after Shaikhul hind came Dr. Israr Ahmed. A thing different with these scholars that they had a beautiful mix of religious scholar, thinker and philosopher. In this time where half of the scholars have sunk deep into Bidah, some restricted themselves into Ibadah not able to understand the system proposed by Islam forget about fighting for that, here came the scholar which understood that Ibadah is the beginning, the spirit of this religon lies in the system it proposes and aptly understood from the times of Khilafa-e-Rashida. His jihad (strive) to make the deen of Allah supreme (ghalib) distinguished him from the league. May Allah accept his hard work and reward him with the best... Submitted By: a

My mentor My preceptor My adviser Dr.Israr Ahmad (Late), was the person who changed my whole life through his Quranic Dars, in which the Divine Power and Rhythm of Holy Verses and their transliteration by Dr.Saab was the main contributing factor. It were Ramadhan in 2003 when Dr.Israr influenced the 17yrs old young fashionable away from religion in every aspect and turned him into complete practicing muslim through QTV telecast in Riyadh back then. How Dr.Israr influenced a young boy, of age that usually die for music and lust and changed his view as a 'Old Baba g' into my mentor. MBBS by profession he was a renowned Islamic scholar of international stature who understood and revealed the spiritual meaning of Iqbal’s poetry more than the latter’s own son. He possessed farsighted vision and strived for "Islamic politico-socio-economic model" and believed its accomplishment possible only through an Islamic Revolution without tossing a single stone. His extensive study enabled him to unleash the gems (Chapters/Surahs) of

A great human, A great Muslim, A great Scholar, A Great Loss I have been listening to Dr. Israr since childhood and have ever since been a great fan of his spirit uplifting lectures. Allah blessed him with a voice that had the ability to instill divine fear and Love of Allah at the same time. I have never heard an orator with such great speech abilities. His command over Arabic and Persian put him into a class of his own. I have heard scholars repeating verses from the Quran, he even quoted Ahadith by heart and that also in Arabic. A scholar in the true sense, he not only conveyed Islam but also its applications in this age of Fitna. He was out spoken and never hesitated to speak the truth. A glorious example of conviction and dedication just like Shk. Ahmed Deedat. May Allah bless both these brothers in Islam and soldiers of Allah in the same place in Paradise close to each other with the best in the Jannah. Dr. Israr has for sure contributed his due share in fulfilling this Prophecy of the Quran as mentioned by him countless times in his lectu

In reverence to a great Scholar and Sociopolitical Reformer. I am a student of Islamic Jurisprudence and every now and then sought guidance from Dr. Sahib not only on principles of Islamic law but also on practicing Islam. He was a wonderful teacher and a great scholar who elaborated on each and every confounding point. His services, not being restrained to the confines of pedagogy but even surmounting those of a of a political reformer, are uncountable to the effect that I am unable to categorize them as social, religious or educational. I have been grieved by loss of such an important and imperative asset of our Deen Islam and the Muslim Ummah. I pray for his maghfirat and so do I request other brethren to do. May he rest in peace and may Allah shower upon him all His blessings in the afterlife. Ameen. Submitted By: Aijaz Zardari

Great Loss of Muslim Ummah I started listening Dr. Israr Ahmed since last few months when one of my friend forced me to visit Quran Academy where Dr. Israr was preaching I was not inspired in first visit but when i went in second program i was highly inspired by his personality most of his preaching and the way of his preaching. He was not only the famous personality of Pakistan but in Middle east and Europe as well. NO doubt Dr. Israr was a great personality with great mission. Now its our duty to extent his mission further and give our part in Tanzem-e-Islami... May Allah rest his soul in peace and give strength to his sons in accomplishing his mission.
